Parent Phone Bank

Join Hands Off Colorado and other parents in-person or virtually to phone bank. We'll spend the evening calling Coloradans to talk about protecting our trans and immigrant neighbors, and why it matters to our families and our communities. **Why parents?** Your voice carries weight. When a parent says "my kid deserves to be safe and loved for who they are," people listen. You don't need to be a policy expert, just a parent who cares. **What to expect:** A warm welcome and a short training at the start. We'll walk through the script, share tips for good conversations, and answer your questions. *Calls made alongside other parents, so you're never on your own. *Experienced volunteers will be there to help. *Snacks, drinks, and good company. **What to Bring** A laptop or tablet, headphones, and enthusiasm to help defeat these measures! New to phone banking? Perfect. Most of our volunteers have never done it before. Many calls go to voicemail, and the conversations that do happen are so meaningful!
