🧡 Kits of Care: Pack with Purpose! You’ve been donating. Now let’s get packing! 🙌 Over the past two months, we’ve been collecting supplies for three types of kits to share with community members served by Partners for Our Communities (POC): 🍪 Christmas Cookie Jars filled with baking ingredients and a recipe for a homemade holiday treat. 💜 Period Kits with menstrual care essentials. 🎒 Unhoused Kits with personal care items for neighbors experiencing homelessness. Donations are coming along beautifully, and now it’s time to bring everyone together for our first assembly event! 📅 Saturday, November 14 | 1–3 PM 📍 Countryside Church Unitarian Universalist (CCUU), Palatine We’re looking for 50+ volunteers to help put together 150 Christmas Cookie Jars, 150 Period Kits, and 75 Unhoused Kits. That’s 375 kits packed with care in one afternoon! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This is a kid-friendly event! Bring your family or a friend. Kids and adults can decorate cards with cheerful messages, fill jars, and pack supplies. No experience needed. We’ll show you what to do! This is a great opportunity for teens to get volunteer hours! 🎁 There’s still time to donate!
