Postcard Mondays with States Win SF (formerly Sister District Project)

Help us accomplish in Arizona in ‘26 what we did in Virginia in ‘25! Join us to write postcards for Democratic candidate JoAnna Mendoza, running to flip AZ's Congressional District 6 from #redtoblue! Why Arizona? AZ has been one of the most important battlegrounds states since 2018 elections, both at the national level and in their statehouse—given this is ground zero for extremist, MAGA election deniers and insurrectionists: In 2024, Ruben Gallego won the state to become its second Democratic Senator. In 2020, President Biden won the state by 10,457 votes—which means every single vote in the Grand Canyon state counts. In 2016, every statewide AZ office was Republican-controlled, as was the state legislature (35 - 25 in the House, 17 - 13 in the Senate). Today, thanks in part to the efforts of States Win SF (formerly Sister District Project SF) volunteers, all but one statewide office is Democratic and the GOP has only a four seat margin in the state house and a three seat margin in the state senate. 2026 is the year we flip the AZ state legislature and the U.S. Congress blue!
