Praise to the Polls

Praise to the Polls is a Get Out the Vote community gathering designed to engage, inspire, and connect residents across Houston’s Southside communities. Rooted in the power of gospel music, faith, fellowship, and collective action, this multigenerational event brings the community together for an afternoon of music, conversation, and connection. The event will feature performers, preachers, guest speakers, and elected officials, alongside opportunities for residents of all ages to engage in meaningful conversations about the issues impacting our communities and the importance of making our voices heard. With family friendly activities and a dedicated Kids’ Corner, Praise to the Polls creates a welcoming space for neighbors to gather, celebrate community, and prepare to show up at the polls. Come together for fellowship, inspiration, and community as we celebrate the power of our voices. Because when our communities show up, our voices are heard.
