Community Thanksgiving Dinner

We have set our date for our annual Thanksgiving dinner for Adams County and the surrounding. On November 21st from 4-7pm we will have warm holiday foods and drinks, arts and crafts, our free market, a movie and more. The movie will be It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown! (We’re unsure if we’re allowed to share the movie name in “marketing” we are playing but we wanted to let yall know!) Join us for an evening of food, community and good conversation. More information will be added as the date comes. This will be hosted at the Seaman Community Center in Seaman, Ohio. Volunteers are needed. Whether you want to help make dishes of food to share with the community, help at the event or even help with some of the organizing and transporting supplies and the market or delivering food to those who need. There are many different tasks you can help with. If you’d like to help, reach out to us. We will have a form for volunteers soon too. Last year we had 10 folks helping us out, we hope to ask that and maybe even a couple more! We are accepting donations for our free market during set up of this event and during. You can find a list of donation needs on our website under community aid and donation and fundraising. We are also fundraising to help with extra supplies such as plates, cups, plastic (or silver) ware, and things like that. We’ll have a list for this posted soon as well. Would you like a thanksgiving meal for you and or your family? We are here to help make that happen. Whether you'd like to join us for dinner, have plates delivered or see what we have in our free market to make a dinner at home. This space is to grow and strengthen our community and provide what's needed. If we all work together, anything is possible. If anyone would need a ride, we can arrange that or we can arrange a plate drop off after the dinner for those who are unable to physically be there.
