Homicide Awareness: A Right to Heal – Access to Victims Compensation

Join Miami Gardens ROSE Inc., Crime Survivors Speak, and Guns Down Voices Up Demanding Justice Inc. as we come together to honor the lives of those affected by homicide and support individuals, families, and communities healing from the pain of loss. This community event will focus on remembrance, healing, awareness, advocacy, and access to resources. Attendees will also learn about Florida Victim Compensation, including what assistance may be available, who may qualify, and how to begin the application process. Too often, surviving families learn about these resources only after they have already faced overwhelming emotional and financial burdens. Our goal is to help families become informed, supported, and connected.
