What these amendments actually do is let corporations like Duke Energy and the wealthiest property owners keep dodging what they owe, and hand the final say on your property tax bill to corporate politicians in Raleigh instead of the county commissioners you elect. That's billions on the line for CMS, CPCC, Atrium Health, and CATS. Our neighbors deserve the real story — not the ballot language.
