About this event
DPOC Public Relations Committee Meeting Join the Democratic Party of Outagamie County’s Public Relations Committee to help build the messages, visuals, outreach, and community connections that move local Democrats forward. We are an all-local, all-volunteer team within our county party, working to elect dems and further progressive values right here at home. Whether you are a writer, designer, photographer, chronically online, spreadsheet organizer, metrics-minded planner, email design wizard or simply someone who wants to pitch in when you can, there is a place for you on the PRC. Most volunteer roles are designed for a manageable 2–3 hours per week, and monthly project-based assignments are available for people who cannot take on an ongoing role. At this meeting, we’ll: - Welcome new and returning volunteers and make space for quick introductions
- Share updates on social media, email, events, and current PR projects
- Review open assignments and volunteer needs
- Match people with roles based on their interests, skills, and availability
- Discuss ways to support DPOC events, candidates, Outagamie Action Teams, and local community partners
- Gather ideas for future content, campaigns, and projects We are currently especially looking for volunteers interested in: - Social media static & Carousel content design, videos, and engagement
- Copywriting, editing, proofreading
- Graphic design, Canva templates, print materials, and email design
- Photography, short-form video, and video editing
- Website updates and event information
- Project coordination, deadline tracking, and intake support
- Press releases, talking points, media relations, and rapid-response writing
- Event promotion, flyer distribution, and volunteer coordination No prior committee experience is required. We can provide tools, templates, direction, and a supportive team, bring your skills, curiosity, and ideas. If you are not ready for a standing role, you can also join our Project Volunteer pool an
