Stories That Shapes Us: Play Through the Pages

Stories That Shape Us is a joyful family literacy series designed for children from birth through age 8 and the adults who care for them. Families will explore culturally affirming books, participate in engaging literacy activities, receive take-home learning resources, and discover meaningful ways to support early learning and school readiness. Each gathering offers a welcoming space for families to read, play, learn, and celebrate the stories that shape our identities, communities, and futures. Families may attend one event or join us for the entire series. Discover how books, play, and imagination work together during Play Through the Pages, part of the Stories That Shape Us family literacy series. Children and their families will participate in playful literacy experiences that bring stories to life while supporting language development, creativity, family engagement, and school readiness. Families will also receive culturally affirming books or take-home literacy resources to continue the experience beyond the event.
