October Combo Big Beautiful Bridge Brigade & Pop-Up Protest events to get out the VOTE

The Focus of the NYS Big Beautiful Bridge Brigade along the Thruway from Buffalo to Mass border is to raise awareness for this critical Midterm Election and to urge people to: Register to Vote, to Check that their own voter registration is still valid and to VOTE EARLY to support the Blue wave. ***This action has grown out of our humble beginnings between three cities (Buffalo, Syracuse, and Rochester at a Solidarity meeting to now include not only 50 different progressive groups in NYS, but has now expanded into New England!!! You are part of this history-making action! NOTE: The Pop-Up protests on Oct 10 & 31 will be located on the 3 bridges; Thompson Rd, Syr, Tulip St. Liverpool & Canton St, Warners. NOTE: on the sign-up options below you will see two dates listed (10/10 & 10/31) both with 3 time options: full 3 hrs & half shift 1 1/2 hrs (11-12:30 or 12:30-2). ***This app does not allow for different locations so PLEASE, it is VERY IMPORTANT to PLEASE EMAIL Christine Herb @ beaconoflove1@pm.me , event organizer, to name the bridge location you plan to attend & *she will inform that bridge leader*. We need a fairly even distribution of people on all 3 bridges so we are asking folks to sign-up for the bridge they will be at. Please make your SIGNS FOCUS ON SOME ASPECT OF VOTING & why this election is so critical. Some people will be holding the banners. Some will have flags or large protest signs large enough to be read from the Thruway below & others will be regular size signs for the local traffic to see going across the bridge. Nothing will be attached to the fence & extreme caution is required by all to be sure NOTHING FALLS from the Bridge onto the Thruway below. ***SEE GREAT SIGN IDEAS on Factocracy.net (free download of pdf or just get ideas to make your own). ;-)
