Every Friday in October, we're taking to the corner with our SIGNS UP to remind Buffalo County that "Your Vote is Your Voice". Bring your friendly faces, creative signs, and good energy to remind folks to: 1. Check their voter registration 2. Make a plan to vote early 3. And encourage their friends and family to vote. When: Every Friday in October, 4:30–6:00 PM Where: at the Corner of 2nd Avenue and 25th Street in Kearney Who: Anyone who can hold a sign (and a smile!) How you can help? — Pick your role: Corner Crew (sign holder): Show up, grab a sign (or bring your own), and wave at cars for an hour and a half. That's it. Come for one Friday or all four, every wave counts. Friday Lead: Be the point person for one Friday: grab the sign box, rally the crew, keep the energy up, and text us a photo when you're done. We'll give you everything you need, you just bring the enthusiasm. Sign up below for the Friday(s) that work for you and whether you want to lead or just show up and wave! No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters. A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
