Missouri State University ALL in Party at the Polls: Voting is Easy as Pie

To encourage voting and democratic engagement in a positive and festive atmosphere, Paws to the Polls will be joining us yo greatly enhance our usual tabling for Election Day. We have a table and tent near the door of the polling location on campus, and our presence has always been greatly appreciated. Normally we supply sample ballots, voter guides, general nonpartisan information, pens, and stickers and the opportunity to take a picture with our “First Time Voter” sign for those starting out their civic engagement path. Our fall theme this year is “Voting is as Easy as Pie.” We will serve pizza pies but also regular pie, hot chocolate, and cider. Join us for a fair-like atmosphere (like we do at the Voting Fair), with our table-top wheel and the opportunity to answer questions and win prizes, and photos with our mascot (The Bill of Schoolhouse Rock fame). All of the nonpartisan educational/informational aspects will also be included that we normally provide.
