Road to Black November Phonebank with Us

Join the Road to Black November Phone Bank and help us increase Black voter participation across Jefferson County! You will call residents to share accurate, nonpartisan voter information and help them prepare for the November 3 election. Before the October 19 registration deadline, we will encourage residents to check their voter status, register to vote or update their information. After the deadline, our calls will focus on helping residents find their polling place, make a voting plan and identify any assistance they may need. During your shift, you will: Receive training and a phone-banking script. Call Jefferson County residents from an approved list. Direct residents to www.RoadToBlackNovember.com. Help residents find the information they need to prepare for Election Day. Record responses so our team can provide appropriate follow-up. Thousands of residents may not discover a problem with their voter status until they arrive at the polls. A short telephone call now can help someone check their information while there is still time to act. No experience is required. We will provide the training, script and support you need. All you need is a telephone, internet access and a willingness to help your community. Every call matters. Every voter matters.
