🤝civic engagement
Indivisible Newark DE is a volunteer-led group aimed at protecting democracy and resisting tyranny. One of our target races is HD13 in PA, a flippable district near the PA/DE/MD border. We are hosting 2 companion events on Saturday Oct 24th in HD13. Join one or the other or both! ## Event Part 1 Join us as we make a human banner that says "FED UP? VOTE NOV 3" on the sidewalk along the 896 at Nichol Park. In just a short time, a small team can reach hundreds of people in this flippable district. ### Brigade Basics - Nichol Park at 1505 New London Rd (the 896), Landenberg PA - Parking is available on site. If there is a sports game at the park, the lot may be full. If so, there is a fire hall next door with public parking. - All letters provided. Just show up and be prepared to stand stationary with your letter during the event. ### Brigade Logistics - Peaceful event - No weapons, drugs or alcohol, please! - We will have safety volunteers to help ensure the event runs smoothly and safely. ## Event Part 2 Right after the human banner, join us to canvass in the district to support the Democratic candidate in HD13, Madelyn Alvarino. ### Canvassing Basics - Saturday Oct 24 - 11:00-1:00pm - Kickoff from Nichol Park ### Canvassing Logistics - Script and voter list provided by the campaign - No experience necessary - Canvass in pairs with other volunteers ## RSVP on Mobilize required for this event ## Get More Involved Learn more about our other work and get more involved at www.IndivisibleNewarkDE.org.
