About this event
The Society of St. Andrew, the Southeast Produce Council, Tuskegee University, and many more community partners are teaming up for a community food distribution at the Black Belt Marketing & Innovation Center in historic Selma, Alabama! We will pack boxes inside the BBMIC on Friday, Nov. 13th, then distribute the boxes to community members Saturday, Nov. 14th. This high-energy day is a vital extension of SoSA's and our partners' year-round mission to improve access to fresh, healthy food in the Black Belt. We’ll be sharing a massive bounty of fresh produce—but we truly couldn't do it without the Southeast’s finest farmers who grow it, and YOU who help us distribute it! Whether you’re a fresh face or a returning friend, join us for our best and most fun event yet. There will be 3 shifts for volunteers: Friday, 11/13
