The Work Continues. The Table Is Set. 🖤🍂 Join the Young Democrats of North Carolina Black Caucus for our November General Meeting and FIRST Annual Friendsgiving as we come together to reflect on the work we’ve started, strengthen our connections, and build toward what’s next. We’ll begin with our Black Caucus General Meeting, followed by an evening of food, fellowship, and Black joy at The Black Table: Friendsgiving. During Our Meeting, We’ll: - Share Black Caucus updates and reflect on our progress since the soft launch - Discuss upcoming events, initiatives, and opportunities to get involved - Hear from members and create space for ideas, feedback, and community priorities - Discuss civic engagement and community outreach happening across our communities - Hear updates from Black Caucus leadership and what's ahead. Then, We Feast! Following the meeting, we’ll transition into The Black Table Friendsgiving, an opportunity to step away from the work for a moment, break bread, fellowship, and celebrate the community we’re building together. We encourage everyone to bring a dish to share! Whether it’s a family favorite, a holiday classic, a side, dessert, or something you simply love to make, bring something to contribute to the table if you’re able. This is more than a meeting. It’s a chance to connect, build relationships, celebrate Black joy, and strengthen our statewide network.
