The Black Table: YDNC Black Caucus FIRST Annual Friendsgiving

Pull up a chair and join the YDNC Black Caucus for our first annual Friendsgiving! The Black Table: An evening of community, connection, and joy. We will begin with our Black Caucus General Meeting and end with a Friendsgiving celebration. 6:00–6:30 PM | BLACK CAUCUS GENERAL MEETING We’ll kick off the evening with a brief Black Caucus meeting where we’ll: - Share updates and upcoming initiatives - Discuss our goals and priorities moving forward - Talk about ways members can get involved - Give members an opportunity to share ideas and connect After the meeting, we’ll officially transition into our Friendsgiving celebration! 6:30 PM | THE BLACK TABLE: FRIENDSGIVING Once the meeting wraps, it’s time to eat, fellowship, and celebrate! We’re asking everyone who is able to bring a dish to share. Whether it’s your favorite family recipe, a holiday classic, a dessert, a side, or something completely your own, bring a little something to add to the table! This is a potluck-style celebration, so the more dishes, the better. WHAT TO EXPECT 🍽️ Friendsgiving Dinner Bring a dish, grab a plate, and enjoy good food with good people. 🥂 Drinks & Mocktails Enjoy an evening of drinks, conversation, and fellowship. We will have wristbands for anybody 21+ 🎶 Music & Black Joy Relax, socialize, laugh, and enjoy the evening with your Black Caucus family. 🤝🏾 Community & Connection Build relationships with Black young professionals, organizers, leaders, creatives, and changemakers from across North Carolina. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? This event is open to Black Caucus members, prospective members, and Black young adults interested in connecting with the community. You do not have to be politically active to attend.
