Grow Together: MoCo Early Childhood Convening

## What our babies need, our community builds. What do Montgomery County children and families need to thrive from birth to age five? Families need more than a childcare slot. They need affordable, accessible care. Strong families. Quality learning environments. And the resources parents need during a child's earliest years — before the systems that are supposed to serve them even show up. This convening isn't a listening session for its own sake. It's where families and providers name the gaps, share what they're living through, and start building solutions together. ### What This Convening Does - **Surfaces the real gaps** not assumptions about what families need, but what they're actually experiencing - **Builds relationships across roles** by having parents, providers, educators, and community leaders in the same room, as equals - **Plants the seed for a Montgomery County Early Childhood Coalition** family- and provider-led, built to set priorities, research solutions, and push for real local investment in kids from birth to five ## _The gaps are real.
