Action Power Hour - What activists can do!

MAD Action Power Hour brings volunteers together to make our voices heard on issues of media and press freedom. We believe a well-informed citizenry is the foundation of a democratic society, and that meaningful change starts with people who show up. Each session, we equip participants with concrete tools to take action. No experience required, just a willingness to get involved. Come for the hour, leave having made a real, tangible contribution to a healthier media ecosystem. We are a non-partisan all volunteer group that engages in actions to directly improve the quality of public information such as messaging, fighting media consolidation and oligarchy, engaging in media accountability and in growing support for local journalism.
