About this event
## YOU (yes you!) have the capability to be an organizer and take action to transform our state block by block, just like Mayor Zohran Mamdani did across NYC. To take the next (or first!) step in leveling up your organizing skills while building power for working class people this election, look no further than our **2026 VOTE WFP ORGANIZING COMMITTEE!** Every Tuesday evening until Election Day, the Vote WFP Organizing Committee will practice thinking, strategizing and taking action like an organizer. Each week we’ll learn and apply strategic thinking, organizing skills and field best practices. ### Come ready to: - Learn and apply strategic thinking and best practices around field work (i.e. anything that involves talking to voters)
- Help lead events in your community to strengthen progressive power across the state - Deepen our collective political education around building a powerful, working class political party
- Connect and collaborate with equally passionate volunteers across NY state! _NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY_ **What is Vote WFP?**
This November, we have the opportunity to send a clear message to Albany: New Yorkers want politicians that represent their interests, not those of corporations. Voting for Kathy Hochul & Adrienne Adams at the top of the ballot in the Working Families line this upcoming election shows the power working families have to deliver elections and where we want our governor’s priorities to be— with her constituents, not corporate donors. It also ensures we keep existing as a party. To maintain our ballot line, every two years we need to get 130,000 votes or 2% of votes, whichever is greatest, at the top of the ticket.
