Tree Spree at Mill Ridge Pumpkin Patch Party

Join us for our 2026 Tree Spree event at the Mill Ridge Park Pumpkin Patch Party on October 23rd! Each year, the Nashville Tree Foundation gives away over a thousand trees to Nashville residents, encouraging them to take canopy stewardship into their own hands. Come help us bring free trees to Nashvillians! We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help keep our giveaway running smoothly from start to finish. Volunteer Tasks Include: - Setting up the tree staging and distribution area - Tagging and organizing tree species - Welcoming and talking with residents - Directing foot traffic and crowds - Assisting residents with carrying and loading trees into vehicles No prior tree experience is required - our team will lead a brief orientation before the event starts!
