Door-knocking: CommunityMatters Deep Canvassing Event

California's 3rd Congressional District is honored to be part of a National Movement using authentic conversation and story-exchange to make meaningful connections as we approach the midterm elections! This approach has effectively helped to "move the needle" on difficult and critically important issues! Come volunteer with us as we go door-to-door to talk with our neighbors about the cuts to healthcare and food assistance for working class folks in California's 3rd Congressional District, as a result of the awful "Big Beautiful Bill." No experience canvassing is necessary, as we provide the training and the materials to participate. Deep Canvassing is a unique and proven method of having conversations across difference, sharing stories and making connections that lead to people taking action for change. It is a powerful tool for breaking through the isolation and polarization of these times, and easy to learn. We hope you'll join us! We will be canvassing in Rancho Cordova - join us! Agenda for the day as follows: 2 - 3 pm- Training; 3 - 5 pm - Canvass in pairs; 5 - 5:30 pm - Debrief
