Signs of Democracy | Arlington

This a local Indivisible event! We have been meeting every week since February 2025, to stand up to growing authoritarianism and defend our rights, our democracy, and one another. We show up with purpose, persistence, and plenty of joy. We have fabulous music, creative signs, great community energy and the honking is epic! Whether you’re a seasoned protester or it’s your first time joining us, you are welcome here and we can't wait to meet you! The ground is mostly flat with no stairs. Please feel free to bring a chair. Parking is available around the corner on S Four Mile Drive. We meet rain or shine, so be sure to check the forecast and dress for the weather. Bring your voice, a sign if you have one, and your good trouble spirit! We will have music and extra signs to share. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.* *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action.
