Walk with Hays Dems in Highpointe

Each week, make a difference! If you can't spare the full 2 hours, even 30 minutes helps. If Saturdays don't work for you, come pick up some "turf" and you can walk in your own time the following week. This Saturday, we'll walk in Highpointe. We'll meet in the parking lot of the amenity center, 410 Cool Spring Way, Austin 78737. We're ringing doorbells of folks who may need a little encouragement to get out to vote in the midterms and giving them the trifolds from Hays Dems that has all our nominees on it, along with a QR to easily get them to our website. We'll meet by 9:45 each week (Mobilize says 9:30, but that's because they only do times on the half hour.) Hand out materials, go over the script, answer any questions, and hit the streets. You can walk in pairs, or on your own, as you prefer. BE SURE to have MiniVAN loaded and logged in before you leave your home. If you're not familiar with MiniVAN, here's a short tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tv9-HHb1VQA Most Saturdays, walkers are invited to stop by for a cooling dip in the pool at Kathi & Mark's home afterwards.
