IA: Calls for Clean Water

This year, Food & Water Watch fought the Iowa legislature to restore our statewide water monitoring program, and sued the EPA to protect Iowa’s drinking water. **Now, Food & Water Action is calling our neighbors, asking people how they’ve been impacted by the crisis, and building the movement to fight for what Iowans deserve.** Join our Community Calls for Clean Water to take action! Together, we'll spread the call to action about what we can do to keep our water safe and send a clear message to elected officials: _stop putting billionaires ahead of working families._ These virtual phone banks will be hosted on Zoom and kick off with a community check-in, plus training for first-time callers! We'll debrief at the end to share lessons learned and talk about what's next. Please note: you will need a phone AND a computer, laptop, or tablet to participate! Please contact an organizer if you don't have access to these devices, and we will do our best to accommodate. **No experience is required; beginners are welcome!** Calls will not be made using your phone number.
