Young people have something to say about the future of immigration policy—and we’re ready to listen. Join us for the Youth Talk Democracy Youth Summit, where 13 middle and high school students will present four original immigration policy proposals developed through six weeks of workshops, research and community action projects. These proposals reflect the students’ own vision for addressing immigration issues locally. At the summit, you’ll hear directly from the young people who created them and learn how we can help advocate for their ideas throughout the school year. Come support youth leadership, participate in the conversation and see what happens when young people are given the knowledge, tools and opportunity to make their voices heard. Youth Talk Democracy is an extension of Let’s Talk Democracy, a grassroots organization dedicated to educating people about our government, encouraging dialogue about the foundations of our democracy and empowering citizens to make their voices heard. We encourage you to fill out our Google Form in addition to RSVPing here. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/13pMkF35Lm61ZEL64x-_LCNtvQ1ztg6v9K79BDGBkb_Y/viewform?edit_requested=true Questions?
