Indivisible Yolo Protect the Results Team Meeting

The best way to fight the regime’s massive voter suppression efforts is to have a turnout that is TOO BIG TO RIG. A close race opens the results up to scrutiny, recounts and scepticism which can boost false claims of election rigging. For that reason, we need a massive turnout so the results are irrefutable. And we need to take action to protect the results. Indivisible Yolo's Protect the Results team will introduce volunteers to opportunities that will help voters vote and have their vote counted. Options include poll observing, serving on voter hotlines, and "curing" ballots that are rejected for lack of a signature or a signature mismatch. The team will meet weekly until the election to coordinate our work, discuss how our volunteer work is going and explore other options to help.
