What if the story you almost decided wasn’t important enough to tell is _exactly_ the story someone needs to hear? **Facts tell us how big a problem is. Stories show us who is living inside it.** Behind every policy debate is a human experience: a parent struggling to find childcare, a teacher watching a student fall through the cracks, a young person wondering whether adults are listening, a family trying to stay housed. Your experience may carry more power than you realize. **_Storytelling for Change_** will help you turn lived experience into a story that can move hearts, illuminate an issue, and inspire action. And you won’t just learn about storytelling. You’ll begin building a story you can actually use with an elected official, in your congregation, at a community meeting, or anywhere your voice could help move someone from understanding an issue to caring enough to act. You don’t need to be a public speaker. You don’t need a dramatic story. And you don’t need to “perform.” You already have a story. Come learn how to make it move. This is Workshop 4 of Beyond the Ballot, and we are almost at the culmination. We’ve explored voting, advocacy, and relationships. Now we add story. Then, in Workshop 5, we bring it all together. Don’t stop one conversation short. #### Beyond the Ballot A non-partisan 5-part virtual workshop series equipping faith communities and everyday people to lead with purpose before, during, and long after Election Day.
