Get Out the Vote - Picnic & canvass

Your down-ballot choices shape our community. Local elected candidates make important decisions about our schools, our water supply, roads, and local services. Local leadership matters! Join us in a canvassing and talking with local Democrats and encouraging them to vote early and support our excellent local candidates, along with the legislative and statewide ballot issues. Whether you’re a seasoned canvasser or brand new, you’ll be supported every step of the way. Bring a friend and be part of the movement shaping the future of our county, state and our nation. No experience is necessary. We provide communication tips, coaching support, experienced canvassing partners and the materials you need, including campaign literature, clipboards, pens, snacks and water. Bring your personal items like comfy shoes, sunscreen, a hat, and a smile. We will be using the PDI Mobile app which makes it all fairly easy... so bring a well-powered smartphone! Sat., 10/10,10am to 1pm. On Sunday, Oct. 11 and Sunday, Oct. 25, we'll have two shifts each day, 10am to 12 noon and 12:30pm to 2:30pm, with a picnic lunch from 11:30am to 1pm. Let's win back congress and support our local candidates with a huge El Dorado Democratic & independent voter turnout! Victory starts at the doorstep. Join us and help make it happen! Note: The Placerville location for this event will be provided after you register.
