About this event
We need your help to cover the polls in Roanoke County! Sign up to be a smiling poll greeter where you can welcome voters to the polls and hand out sample ballots with the names of Democratic candidates and information on 3 proposed state constitution amendments. Voters who cast their votes for Democratic candidates want to see themselves represented! You can be the Democratic poll greeter that lifts our voters up and make them feel validated and proud to be a Democrat! Poll-greeting is a simple activity. As voters come to the polls, simply ask if they would like a sample ballot. If so, then hand them one and point out that there is also information on the sample ballot about the proposed state constitutional amendments which they will also be voting on. It is that easy! As voter leave the polls, thank them for coming out and voting. Feel free to bring a friend or come alone!
Once you sign up a Roanoke County Democratic Committee representative will contact you to assign one of the following polling locations; Masons Cove Elementary School, Glenvar High School, Glenvar Middle School, Northside High School, Glen Cove Elementary School, Glenvar Library, or Fort Lewis Elementary School.
