Solidarity with Detained Immigrants

The Interfaith Alliance, The Workers Circle and Florida Immigrant Coalition are hosting a weekly vigil/demonstration on 49th street by the Pinellas Courthouse Complex. Ten people have been murdered, 54 deaths in ICE detention facilities, children ripped from the arms of their parents. These are not the actions of law enforcement, these are the actions of monsters. Please join us in standing witness, as well as, contacting your elected officials telling them to end cooperation with ICE. A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
