Fae Festival at the Pagoda & Oriental Garden

Get out there with a COVA Coalition Street Team to talk to voters at community events and show people that the resistance is alive and well! We'll share educational materials and discuss why it's important to vote "yes" on the 3 amendments to the Virginia Constitution that will be on the ballot this November; show people how to register to vote or check/update their voter registration on their phones; give out stickers; and encourage others to find their voice, take action, and protect democracy. PLEASE NOTE that this activity involves standing and walking! We will NOT have a table at this event; instead, we will walk around and talk to people as they enter and exit the venue, and, if appropriate, mingle with the crowd. Where: The Pagoda & Oriental Garden, 265 W Tazewell St., Norfolk We will brief team members on the content and importance of the 3 amendments, train you on how to engage people, and provide you with the materials needed (flyers, clipboard, stickers, etc.).
