### Calling Poets and Poetry Lovers! The personal is political is poetic. Join Western Dane Democracy Project members on Friday, September 25, at 6:30 at Fitchburg Barriques for an informal, sitting-around-the-table, poetry share-out. Come prepared to share 2-3 poems that you wrote or by other poets that resonate with you. If you'd like a writing prompt to work from, try writing a poem based on snippets of things you hear or read. Such snippets of text become the basis for "found poems": https://poets.org/glossary/found-poem. All themes and ability levels welcome. Participating poets can let the group know whether they want feedback or just attentive listening. This is a low-pressure opportunity to celebrate an important form of self-expression! This event is open to the public.
