Postcards and Pies with Upper Allen Mechanicsburg Dems

Join the Upper Allen Mechanicsburg Democratic Club on Thursday, September 17, from 6:45–8:15 PM at the Simpson Library Learning & Book Sale Center (45 W. Allen St., Mechanicsburg) for an evening of postcards, pie, camaraderie, and civic service! Our goal is to prepare at least 500 postcards to send to Democratic and Independent voters in Mechanicsburg Borough, Shiremanstown Borough, and Upper Allen Township. Never written a postcard before? No experience necessary! Have less-than-stellar penmanship? No worries! You can be a stamper or labeler. If you do write, your obligation is just a sentence or two. We'll be completing the sentence: “I VOTE BECAUSE…” We'll provide ideas and options if you don't have an answer of your own. So grab a friend and join us! Let's fill 500 postcards, enjoy some pie, and make a difference together. 💙
