Join Powered by People for a high-impact **Voter Mobilization** shift at **Mo's Market** at the Lubbock Arboretum! **https://www.mo-markets.com/mosmarket/mos-market-1** There are two shifts available that will overlap, but if you can come for the whole thing, that’s okay too! We are showing up to talk to voters, spark meaningful conversations, and make sure every eligible Texan in is registered and ready to make their voice heard. At this event, we will: - Engage directly with voters in high-density, high-foot-traffic areas across the community - Register eligible voters on the spot for Lubbock County, but answer questions for voters in other counties as well. - Connect with voters using **Reach**, our relational organizing tool, so we can personally stay in touch with them all the way to Election Day ### Voter Registrar Requirements - **All volunteers are welcome!** There are plenty of vital roles for everyone, _whether you are certified or not_. - **Important Note**: If you want to physically register voters at this event, you **MUST** be a certified Volunteer Deputy Registrar (VDR) in at least **Lubbock County**. - _Not certified yet?_ Don't worry! You can still participate in outreach or get certified ahead of time by signing up for our [VDR Training](https://www.mobilize.us/poweredxpeople/event/908495/). ### Shift Schedule & Flow To ensure a smooth and high-impact day, please plan to arrive early for our team huddle. Here is what to expect during your shift: - **[8:30-9:00am]: Team Huddle** | Arrive early to grab your materials, meet the team, and align on our goals for the event. - **[9:00am-1:00pm] Voter Mobilization** | The main event! We engage community members, register voters, and get folks set up on Reach. - **[1:00-1:30pm]: Debrief** | We will reconvene, turn in completed registration forms, tally our total sign-ups, celebrate our wins, and talk about next steps. ### How to Prepare Before you arrive, please
