GOTV Block Walk with the West U Area Dems on 9/5/26

Come join us on Saturday September 5th as we canvass to Get Out The Vote (GOTV) for the November 3rd election and determine what issues and candidates are motivating voters to vote in the upcoming midterm elections. We also want to recruit more volunteers to help in our efforts to GOTV ahead of the November general election. We will meet at the West University Community Center located at 6104 Auden at 9:30 am and then block walk from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Plan on coming whether this is your first time to block walk or whether you have done it before. We will provide training and pair you with an experienced person. We will have the lists of people to talk to, the scripts to use in discussing this election, plus literature to hand out concerning the election. You just need to bring your cellphones to download the MiniVAN app, wear comfortable clothes, and bring your special water bottle (yes, we know it is hot out there.)
