Democracy Buffet Postcarding: Michigan Senate and House Races

Join our "Democracy Buffet" friends for the return of their regular alternating Thursday afternoon postcarding event. Join us at the Edgewater Library where we will be writing postcards to Michigan (which has key Senate and House races that we must win!) Come at noon for a potluck and conversation, OR from 1pm to 3pm for postcarding alone. Note that event is free, but your volunteer organizers buy postcards for $.15 each and stamps for $.65 each (total $.80 per card), so a donation of $8 for every 10 postcards/stamps you use is much appreciated. BUT - don't let $ be a barrier - we do have some folks who donate extra so that everybody can participate. (It's also fine to bring your own stamps). We will be postcarding every other Thursday afternoon through October 22, but the LOCATION WILL VARY, so stay tuned.
