Labor Day Waco Freedom Corner Protest! We are gathering for a Labor Day Protest on 7 September from 10:00 am to Noon at Freedom Corner, the corner of North Valley Mills Drive and West Waco Drive. Reject Trump, Abbott, the Oligarchs and the Republican Party. Support workers and the people Support freedom and Democracy. We the People have a voice, let’s use it! The worse things get the louder we must be! As always, this is a 100% peaceful and safety conscious event. Stay out of the street, do not wave signs out into the the street. So not impede vehicles in the parking lot and get out of the way of anyone trying to walk on the sidewalk. We will follow the instructions of law enforcement. No weapons of any kind, even legal ones. If things get too heated with opposition individuals or groups, stop talking, turn around, walk away, leave if you sense danger. We have achieved our purpose the moment we show up. The MCDP will bring it's collection of protest signs from the office. Use them. We need to tie this action to the election. There will be campaign yard signs. If you hold one in the protest, you get to keep it for your yard! Be polite, positive and friendly. We are happy warriors for our cause!
