About this event
Right now, the Trump administration is treating people as expendable, and putting polluters first while our communities pay the price. They’re gutting protections that keep our air and water safe, denying climate science, and stripping away the systems meant to warn and protect us from extreme weather. All while corporate profits soar and families are left to deal with the consequences. We can’t afford to sit back! **Join special guest Congressman Jared Huffman at this climate-focused townhall.** Bring your questions and your friends! Enjoy light refreshments and network with local activists and organizations. Reception at 4:30 pm; program begins at 5:00 pm. This event is part of the Climate Action Campaign's national "No Denying Climate Change" tour.
