WHY WE'RE HERE NO ICE. We're standing together against the detention and deportation of our neighbors, families, friends, and community members And those that have been killed during stops, and I detention centers. We believe: People are not disposable. Families should not be torn apart. Immigration status should not determine whose life matters. Communities deserve safety, dignity, and due process. We gather to speak up, show solidarity, support affected families, and demand an end to the policies and systems that separate people from their homes and loved ones. Art supplies will be provided by Eastern Panhandle Indivisible. Paint, markers. Poster boards. We need you, your talent, your ideas and creativity. WE STAND TOGETHER. WE PROTECT OUR COMMUNITY. WE SAY NO TO ICE DETENTION & DEPORTATION. NO ICE. NO FAMILY SEPARATION. NO COMMUNITY LEFT BEHIND. Why: Humans who are immigrants are being murdered; allowed to die without proper medical care; and abused at the hands of the government. We will be making signs for our Sept. 13, 2026 action which will emphasize the damage ICE is doing to America and to our immigrant population. We will supply paint, markers and art supplies. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
