🤝civic engagement
We’re heading into the final weeks before the midterm election, and there is work to do! Join the Pickens County Democratic Party for our September Monthly Meeting, immediately followed by the County Executive Committee Meeting. But this month, we’re putting Democrats in Action front and center. We’re already making calls, and now we’re taking the work to the doors. From the Central Clemson Library, we’ll launch our fall canvassing effort and keep the phone bank moving, with opportunities to: 📞 PHONE BANK — Keep making calls, connecting with voters, and helping turn Democratic voters into voters who actually show up. Pickens County volunteers have already made the second-highest number of phone calls in the state and we’re not slowing down now! Bring a charged laptop or tablet and headphones. 🚪 CANVASS — This is where we start knocking doors. Join us for the first canvassing launch of our fall field program as we head toward Election Day. Bring a charged cell phone and wear comfortable shoes. You’ll be putting them to work! 📬 POSTCARDS — If our postcards arrive in time, we’ll have them ready for volunteers to write and send. And yes, there will be time to socialize, catch up, meet fellow Democrats, and hang out. We love that part, too. This is how we build Democratic power in Pickens County. We get out there, talk to our neighbors, and make sure voters know what’s at stake. Register to let us know you're coming, and find your place in the work. Pickens County Democrats are organizing. Be part of it. Come to the meeting. Stay for the action. Bring a friend!
