POWER the VOTE is an opportunity to explore the different ways volunteers support voter outreach, party operations and WINNING in November. Come learn about: • Canvassing and speaking with voters at their doors • Making voter-contact calls • Driving and transportation support • Data entry and voter-contact data support • Preparing materials for canvass launches • Helping organize and staff off-site canvass launch locations • Providing food and hospitality for volunteer teams • Behind-the-scenes support for direct voter contact • Other Democratic Party volunteer and leadership roles The event is designed for both experienced volunteers and people who are simply interested in learning what different roles involve. Some jobs involve talking directly with voters; many others provide the logistical, technical, and organizational support that makes voter-contact programs possible.
