Join Rural Arizona Engagement for a community conversation about the future of renewable energy development in our county. At this event, you will: ☀️ Learn about the potential benefits and concerns surrounding renewable energy development 🔋 Receive updated information about safety and best practices for battery energy storage systems (BESS) 📋 Learn how the permitting process works, what you can expect at each step, and when you can provide input or take action 🗣️ Share your questions, concerns, and feedback about upcoming solar projects in our county 💧 Learn how data centers and other large-scale developments may affect our land, water, energy, and communities 👀 Sign up to become a Rural Watcher and help monitor local public meeting agendas. As a Rural Watcher, you can alert your local RAZE organizer to concerning agenda items so we can inform the community sooner and help more residents make their voices heard. You do not need to be an expert to participate. Whether you support renewable energy, have concerns, or simply want to learn more, your perspective matters. You will leave with a better understanding of how these decisions are made and how you can participate before they become final. Local decisions should not happen without your voice.
