For the Love of Democracy A Comedy Fundraiser with Jimmy Tingle

On Thursday, October 1st, comedian and political satirist Jimmy Tingle takes the stage at the Leicester Social Club for a one-man comedy show benefiting three local Democratic campaigns: David LeBoeuf (State Representative, 17th Worcester District), Nick Lazzaro (State Representative candidate, 7th Worcester District), and Shannon Teabo (State Senate candidate, Worcester and Hampshire District). Jimmy Tingle brings decades of comedic and political insight to the stage, from his two seasons on CBS's 60 Minutes II to his own HBO comedy special, appearances on The Tonight Show and CNN, and film credits including Next Stop Wonderland and Boondock Saints. Expect sharp wit, real heart, and a night that's as thoughtful as it is funny. Proceeds support David, Nick, and Shannon's campaigns, as well as the ongoing work of the Leicester Democratic Town Committee as we work to turn our town blue.
