About this event
Please join us on Tuesday, September 15, at 8:30 a.m. ET on Zoom for our next Breakfast Briefing: Protecting the Vote - What Pennsylvania Voters Need to Know. We will be joined by Elena Laskin, Deputy Voter Protection Director - Voter Assistance with the Pennsylvania Democratic Party’s Coordinated Campaign, for a practical conversation about voter rights and protections in Pennsylvania. Elena will walk us through the rights every eligible Pennsylvanian has when voting, including protections against voter intimidation, assistance for voters with disabilities or limited English proficiency, the right to a secret ballot, and what voters need to know about registering, voting by mail, and voting in person. Elena has worked in voter protection with the PA Dems since 2022. She currently oversees the Hotline, Textline, Ballot Cure, Designated Agent, and Voter Education programs, helping ensure Pennsylvanians have the information and support they need to cast a ballot and have it counted. With Election Day approaching, this is an important opportunity to know your rights, protect your vote, and learn about the resources available to Pennsylvania voters. Please share this invitation with friends, family, and colleagues. Your vote is your voice.
