About this event
Your Story Matters. Now Let’s Take Action. At the last YCAT board meeting, community members and students came out to share their experiences and speak about why public transportation matters in Yuma County. Board members heard those stories, and they want to continue hearing directly from the people who use and depend on YCAT. Now, we need more community members to show up and testify. YCAT connects people to work, school, medical appointments, groceries, and other essential destinations. Whether you ride YCAT regularly, have experienced challenges with public transportation, or have seen how these services impact your family or community, your story matters. These monthly board meetings are an opportunity to make our voices heard, share what is working, identify what needs to improve, and help decision-makers understand the real impact of their decisions on our community. You don’t need to be an experienced public speaker. We’ll provide information and support to help you prepare your testimony and feel confident speaking up. 📅 Join the next meeting: September 28 at 1:30 PM
📍 Yuma County Department of Development Services Come share your story. Come listen to your neighbors. Come help shape the future of YCAT. The board is listening. Let’s make sure they keep hearing from us.
