CCUI at Southeast Neighborhood Community Day — Voter Engagement & Gen Z Outreach

Join Camel City United Indivisible as we table at the Southeast Neighborhood Association's 14th Annual Community Day! This year's Community Day is focused on "Bridging the REAL Gap — Connecting Generations" and will feature a Gen Z Marketplace, live entertainment, food, activities for young adults, community resources, and people of all generations from across Winston-Salem. What CCUI Will Be Doing Our table will focus on helping community members get ready to vote and ready to protect their vote. Volunteers will: Share voter protection information and resources Help people think through their voting plan Share information about voter registration and voter ID Answer basic questions about getting ready to vote Connect interested community members with CCUI Engage young and first-time voters Encourage Gen Z participation in civic life No experience is necessary. We'll have the materials and information you need. Gen Z Volunteers Especially Encouraged! Because this event includes a special Gen Z Marketplace and youth-focused activities, we'd especially like members of CCUI Gen Z and younger volunteers to join us. This is a great opportunity to talk with young people peer-to-peer about voting, voter protection, and getting involved in their community. Come spend two hours with us, meet the community, and help make sure our neighbors are ready to vote and ready to have their votes counted.
