Polk Burnett Indivisible and the St. Croix Unitarian Universalist Fellowship invite the public to a free local showing of the documentary Bad Faith 2026: Christian Nationalism in Power on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at West Denmark Parish Hall in Luck, Wisconsin. The screening will begin at 6 p.m. and be followed by a community discussion led by Anne Nelson, who served as a consultant on the film. Light refreshments will be available. Bad Faith examines the rise of Christian nationalism in American politics, exploring how religious beliefs and political power have intersected in recent decades. The documentary distinguishes Christian nationalism from the faith and practices of the majority of American Christians who do not embrace that ideology, inviting viewers to consider the historical, political, and social issues involved. The screening is intended to encourage thoughtful conversation and respectful dialogue among community members with a variety of perspectives. All are welcome to attend. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
