About this event
**On location in Kingston, Washington, hosted by North Kistap Indivisible!!!** ## _Do you know what to do if you see ICE in your community?_ **This 1-hour basic class will show you what to do if you happen to see immigration enforcement activity.** It’s like taking CPR training: you hope you’ll never need it, but it’s good to know what to do in case of an emergency. **Topics include:** * The role and responsibilities of a Constitutional Observer
* Key constitutional rights relevant to observation and documentation
* How to use the V.I.D.E.O. framework for clear, consistent reporting
* How to identify immigration agents
* Best practices for personal safety and non-interference This training was developed by Indivisible Eastside, Seattle Indivisible and West Seattle Indivisible, with support from ACLU-WA and WAISN. **You can sign up and bring a friend with you to this training!** Just indicate the total number of people that you will be bringing in the "Are you signing up a group?" field when registering. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
