NVM 2026 September Volunteer Meeting

Join us on Zoom for our September volunteer meeting on Wednesday, the 23rd, at 6 PM. We will provide updates from our field team, share GOTV volunteer opportunities, and more! It takes all of us to protect and expand our democracy. We hope to see you there. **Zoom Registration Required:** Upon signing up here on Mobilize, you will receive an email with the link to register for the Zoom meeting. ### Community Rules of Conduct and Engagement: By signing up for this event, we assume that you will fully abide by our Community Standards and Rules of Engagement. If a volunteer violates any of these standards, they will be removed and barred from future events at our discretion. We do this to protect our staff and volunteers and to create a safe and welcoming environment. I will respect NVM staff who have organized this meeting, as well as my fellow volunteers, by being mindful of our time constraints, avoiding harsh/foul language, and giving everyone a chance to speak. We will assume the good intent of all participants and staff. NVM organizes around and centers the needs of working-class communities of color. Please keep in mind that the strategies & messaging we use have been developed to keep those communities at the center of our work. Therefore, the strategies & messaging we use may not align with your specific expectations and may differ from what you've experienced with other volunteer organizations. Please keep this in mind as we work together to build a more equitable Virginia that is home to all. I recognize that there may be changes to the event's schedule and agenda. We will do our best to give you advance notice if and when changes are made. I will NOT share the Zoom information or any internal documentation with anyone else. We ask this for our own security.
